The (Govintra) Services launchpad widget shows a grid of icon-and-label tiles, each one either linking to a service page or opening a panel of extra content on the spot, wherever you place it. It needs Advanced Custom Fields to be active. The title and the empty grid wrapper still show even with no tiles added.
Add the Services launchpad widget
- Go to Appearance, then Widgets.
- Find (Govintra) Services launchpad in the list of available widgets and add it to a widget area, such as Homepage second column. See Setup widgets on the homepage.

Widget settings
Title
The heading above the grid. There is no default — leave it blank and no heading is shown.
Service links
Select New link to add a tile, and repeat for every tile you want in the grid.
Icon image
The picture shown on the tile. Optional, but a tile looks better with one.
Label
The text under the icon. Required.
Open a reveal panel instead of linking
Unticked by default, which makes the tile a plain link. Tick it to turn the tile into a button that opens a panel of content below the grid instead of going anywhere.
Reveal content
Only shown when Open a reveal panel instead of linking is ticked. The rich text, images or links shown in the panel when someone selects this tile.
Service URL
Only shown when the reveal panel is off. Where the tile links to. Required when the tile is a link.
Only shown when the reveal panel is off. Ticked by default, so a service link opens in a new tab. Untick it to keep staff on the intranet tab instead.
