This plugin allows you to add a widget to a widget area to display a “Get notifications” button. It will only display if people are logged in.
Staff may click the button to subscribe to updates on the post, and will receive a simple email when the post is updated.
The button changes to “Stop notifications” when the post is revisited, allowing staff to unsubscribe.
Please note that this widget works when posts/pages are updated. For pages that have an automated template, such as the News listing, subscribing to this page will not send notifications when there are fresh news stories, because once set up, the News page will rarely be edited.
