18. HT Notify
Provides a new widget to add to the sidebar of pages allowing users to subscribe to changes to the page.
This really only works on posts and pages where the content actually changes. Subscribing to automated templates such as the blogs template will not provide alerts for new content. You should use an appropriate email or newsletter plugin to alert users about new content, for example MailPoet.
Add the HT Notify widget to appropriate sidebars such as tasks and guides. A button will display in the sidebar allowing staff to subscribe and unsubscribe.
A background job runs hourly and will send emails to subscribers when content is changed.
