- Events on the same day now sort by start time in the Events listing widget (including its past-events fallback), the events listing page, the listevents, listposts and shorttags shortcodes, and the aggregator events block.
- Vacancies closing on the same day now sort by closing time in the Vacancies widget and on the vacancies listing page.
- Intraverts with a blank cookie period now stay hidden for 30 days (the field default) instead of 14
- Dismissing an ultravert, or following its link, now hides it for the rest of the session, including every-page-load ones; preview mode ignores this
- Most liked widget’s tag filter fixed
- Running the Wonderwall migration again after it has finished no longer recreates every entry; wall entries record their source honour
- Old header utility bar widgets are moved to inactive widgets (merged with existing ones) instead of a widget area that doesn’t exist
- Autocomplete: removed the dead team news mapping (team news stays out of autocomplete on purpose)
- Raise minimum WordPress version to 6.2 to match the bundled Advanced Custom Fields requirement
- Add Site overview dashboard widget, replacing the Right Now Reloaded plugin: user numbers, a warning when too many people have administrator access, published counts for each content type, and category and tag counts
- Add Profilometer dashboard widget that shows how complete staff profiles are: who has a profile photo, plus bars for the other details you choose
- Fix Gravity Forms date picker being cut off at the edge of the content area, so later dates can be chosen
- Make the Gravity Forms date picker calendar more compact by removing the table styles that leaked into it (extra lines, padding and header shading)
- Dark mode: placeholder text, the calendar icon, the pop-up calendar dates and the number and dropdown arrows in Gravity Forms now show up against the dark background
- Table cells use overflow-wrap: break-word so a column is never narrower than its longest word; a crowded table no longer renders “Floor” as “Floo/r” on wide screens
- Links and code inside cells keep overflow-wrap: anywhere so long emails, URLs and reference codes still wrap instead of pushing the table off-screen
- Wide tables on phones scroll sideways inside the responsive wrapper rather than breaking words
- Only administrators can add, rename or delete terms in any taxonomy (news types, blog categories, event types, course types, grades, locations, A to Z letters); editors can still choose from the approved list
- Default and left-nav page layouts now show manually picked related content in the right sidebar
- News updates gain the Sidebar and Related content boxes and can be chosen as related content elsewhere
- New Wonderwall Sidebar widget area for individual thank-you entries
- Wall entries are administrator-only in the dashboard via map_meta_cap, including for custom roles; legacy wall-entry caps removed from subscriber/contributor/author/editor
- Archive headings no longer carry the “Archives:” prefix
Bug fixes:
- Wonderwall form: double-clicking submit no longer creates duplicate entries. One-off token checked in acf/pre_save_post ignores repeat POSTs for ten minutes; submit button is locked and shows “Sending…” once the form is on its way, and unlocks on back-cache restore
- Removed the unused Post offset field from the News updates listing template
- Award category icon style help text now points at Options, Style
