  • Team pages now have a Sort by last name link beside the Members heading, so you can list a team alphabetically by surname. Members are listed by first name as before until you switch, and a Sort by first name link takes you back.
  • The How do I? page now shows the Sidebar content entered on the page itself, as well as any Task landing widgets. Previously anything typed into the Sidebar box was ignored on this page, so the only way to fill the sidebar was with widgets. Sidebar content appears above the widgets, matching every other page and article.
  • Category links in the sidebar of a news story, blog post or news update — and the category buttons on the Comms hub page — now open the main News, Blog or News updates page filtered to that category, rather than a plain category archive. Readers keep the listing page’s own filter buttons and layout, so it’s easier to carry on browsing. If no page is set for that section in the theme settings, the links fall back to the category archive as before.
  • When a News, Blog posts or News updates widget is filtered to a single category, its More link now always leads somewhere useful. Previously, if no listing page was set for that section, the link went nowhere or to a guessed address; it now falls back to that category’s own archive page.
  • Added a Back to top link at the foot of every page, alongside the light/dark theme buttons. It scrolls the page back to the top, which saves a long scroll on news, blog and directory listings. It sits on its own panel so it stays readable over any footer colour or background image.
  • Pale header colours are now properly supported. On a white or other light header, several parts of the header and menu were shaded in white and so became invisible: the mobile search box disappeared altogether, leaving only the search button, and the menu button’s outline, the menu hover highlights and the dividing lines between menu items all faded out. These now take their shading from the header’s text colour, so they stay visible whatever header colour you choose. Dark headers are unchanged.
  • The Listing layout of the Blog posts widget now shows the author’s name, on its own line above the date. Previously the only sign of who wrote a post was their photo, which gave no name.
  • The Blog posts widget can now lead with a picture. Choose the Listing layout and tick Featured image on first, and the first post’s featured image appears full width above the list. If that post has no featured image, the list looks exactly as it did before.
  • Tidied the Blog posts widget settings so you only see the options that apply. Featured image on first and Show thumbnails each appear only for the layout they affect, and More link text appears once Show “More” link is ticked.
