You can force a page or post to appear at the top of search results for a given search term. At the bottom of the editing screen you’ll see the Relevanssi post controls panel. Enter key words to be used to promote the page if anyone searches for those words.
Use this option with care and only for key content pages.
Typical example: the word “pay” will probably appear in many pages on the intranet and the top organic search result for this word may not be the desired page. Enter pay in the Relevanssi post controls panel on the page that you wish to appear first in search results.
Never check the “Promote this post for all results it appears in” option. Why not? Let’s say that your guidance page on “Harassment” contains the words union, manager and privacy. By checking this box, you tell the system that any searches for union, manager or privacy should promote the Harassment page as the ideal result.
